Child Care Resume Online

30 October 2013

While it’s always important to have a hard copy of your child care resume, these days, it’s equally vital to have an online version. Some people look to LinkedIn or other online sites to display an online version of their CV or childcare resume, but for childcare providers, look no further than right here. Mom Trusted has a perfect platform for childcare providers to display their information and experience. We even have some tips to help the simple process of making an online resume on Mom Trusted even easier:

Who are you?

Fill in your name and describe your center. It’s usually helpful to keep the descriptions fairly simple and straightforward to give parents a brief overview. Think of it as your elevator description.

Focus on the facts first

Simply enter the basic info.

Then dig into the details

Mom Trusted doesn’t require you to fill in all of the boxes on our online resume form, but we recommend you do! Remember that the more information you provide, the better informed parents-to-be will be. So even though you have the option of leaving out facts like total spaces or rates, we highly encourage you to take the time to fill them in.

What’s your care center’s philosophy?

No. We’re not talking Kant and Locke here. Tell us about your teaching and learning philosophy. What are your overarching guidelines? What qualities do you hope to instill in children who attend your care facility? What is the learning environment like? Are there specific skills or areas that your center focuses on?

Show us your stuff

After all, a picture does say a thousand words, right? Snap some shots of your childcare center and upload them to your online profile.

Build your referral network

Invite parents who already have children at your center to your online profile. At Mom Trusted, we believe strongly in word of mouth and parents trust other parents’ opinions. So have some of your own vouch for you and spread the good word about your daycare or preschool.
