Hey there! My name is Lucy Hess and I am a sophomore elementary education student at the University of Delaware. I love working with children, and have been a camp counselor at Camp Timber Tops in the Pocono Mountains for the past 3 years. There, I provide 24-hour care, 6 days a week, for a bunk of 11 girls. In addition to camp, I have experience babysitting children of various ages and enjoy creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. I plan on becoming a 5th grade teacher after I graduate in 2028, and I am passionate about helping kids learn, grow, and thrive. I am First Aid certified, highly responsible, and patient. I am skilled at conflict resolution, organizing engaging activities, and balancing fun with structure, and bedtime! I also love helping with homework, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
