Hello! My name is Colette and I am a recent graduate of Cornell University living with my aunt in Brooklyn. For the past three years, I have babysat in both English and French for a family of three (4, 7, and 11 years old) in Manhattan and a young girl (5 years old) while studying abroad in Paris, FR. Over the course of these experiences, I have grown confident in my ability to overcome any bump, hiccup, and tear that comes my way. Juggling multiple children in a city environment is not for everyone, but I am experienced and accomplish the job with a genuine smile on my face. Mostly, I take pride in cultivating a fun, creative environment for children while passing on my love of art and learning through storytelling, crafting, playing, dancing, and experimenting. Additionally, I understand the value of communicating ground rules and expectations in order to firmly maintain a safe space built on mutual respect and care.
