Hello! My name is Izabella and I would love to tell you more about myself. I am Spanish-English bilingual, with both formal and informal experience working with children.

I currently work in environmental education, working with 6th to 12th grade students, however I have also worked with kindergarten to 5th grade
students in previous environmental education jobs. As a babysitter, I love to bring my passion for nature and the environment to the table, whether through exploration of local parks, starting seeds in egg cartons, to strolling down the block and learning to identify local birds, trees, and plants.

Also, as an auntie to my nine-year-old niece, I have been involved in her upbringing since her birth. My close relationship with my niece has refined my skills as a babysitter and deepened my understanding of childhood development.

These experiences have shaped my philosophy as a babysitter. I believe in fostering space for curiosity, age-appropriate independence, unstructured learning, kindness, respect, and responsibility.
