Hi! Im Kirby! I have a Master’s of Education, grades K-8 and Special Education. I’ve lived in New York almost 5 years, after graduating from college from Loyola New Orleans with a B.S. in Psychology and minors in Sociology and Womens Studies. Ive had over ten years of experience as a babysitter/nanny, and over six years of experience working as a Lead Teacher for grades 3/4 in a Brooklyn Charter School, as well as experience as a Head Teacher in an after school program for preschoolers and pre-K children while in New Orleans. I also have volunteer experience working with multiple schools and organizations. I have always loved working with kids, and started babysitting from a young age, and have been babysitting since I was basically old enough too. Throughout all of high school and college, I was a full time nanny during the summers. While in school, I worked for an after school program where I was a head teacher for preschoolers and pre-k children, as well as a teacher assistant to the school day teachers. I then pursued a Master’s in Education and taught third and fourth grade for over three years at a charter school in Brooklyn. Last year, I made the transition out of education, but am now seeking some casual babysitting, nannying, or tutoring gigs in my free time. I am infant and child CPR and first aid certified, and have completed safe environment training. I can provide great references and answer any questions you may have!
