My name is Selena
I am a Caregiver of Special Needs Children and Adults for the past 6+ years.
While working with this population i have worked in several facilities for different agencies.
The children I’ve come in contact with have been from toddlers to teens. High and low functioning individuals.
My skills include but are not limited to bathing, dressing, homework help, some speech therapy, meal preparation, medication management, excercise, and just helping the child to have as much independence as possible. I am CPR certified with extensive medical training.

The reason why I enjoy working with special needs individuals is because they need a voice. They are the population that tends to get ignored. By working with them, I am showing them that some one does care and they have a friend in me. As I work wth them , they are also teaching me to be even more caring for others.

As a caregiver you will find that i do not drive, but i am very caring, responsible, honest, reliable, nurturing, respectful, hardworking and dedicated to everyone I work with.
I cannot be in the presence of cats or dogs due to my asthma and allergies.
