Write a messageHello! My name is Jasmine! I am currently a freshman at Illinois State University and I am going into Elementary Education. I have worked with kids for many years. I have babysat for about 5 years, worked at summer camps for 3 summers and a daycare for 1 summer. During my time babysitting/working I have had experience with creating engaging activities, preparing meals/snacks, putting children to bed, potty training, creating a safe environment and more. To add in high school I volunteered to practice reading with elementary students and I do the same here at college but with a kindergartener. I am available to work on my breaks which are summer break (May – beginning of August), Thanks Giving break, spring break and winter break. This summer (2025) I am unable to work the first two weeks of June and from June 22nd – July 11th. This is for personal time as well as for a teaching preparation scholarship program I am apart of called Golden Apple. For this summer I would be able to start May 12th. I have a car for my own transportation, but I am not comfortable driving children to activities. I however do not mind walking to close areas like a park or library.
