Hello everyone!

My name is Chelsea; as of May 2019 I am a college graduate. Studying psychology and human services my career goal has been to become a clinical psychologist and work with children who have mental disabilities. Not only have I taken many classes in child development, educational psychology, child psychology and so on, I have 2+ years working with children and youth.

While going to school in Connecticut, I was a nanny for a lovely family of 6. I would watch 4 children during the week while going to school. Although it may seen hard balancing work and school I enjoyed it. Over the last year of working with the family, not only was I able to help the children grow in different aspects, they helped me grow as well. My best interest is the children, I am patient, kind and trust worthy.

On top of watching the four children, on the days I was not working there I would watch another family of 5. Interacting with the children, and being able to build friendships in a positive work environment is another reason why I enjoy babysitting. There was never a moment where I felt like it was too much. With that being said, I do believe that I am an ideal candidate and I hope you do as well.
