I am a mother of two: a daughter who is a senior in high school, and a son who is a senior in college (brilliant, fabulous kids, of course.)
I live in the South Loop and am have been a freelance photographer and a writer for a newspaper for many years. I also taught preschool for a couple of years at a private preschool in Hyde Park-one of two lead teachers for 3-5 year olds (they were amazing.) I am still a regular substitute teacher there, and am available for babysitting because of my flexible schedule.
I love children, and have years of experience with all ages, from newborn to almost adult (obviously.)
I am very responsible, dependable, and a loving and creative caregiver. I believe in interacting with and talking to children; I don’t believe in putting children in front of a TV when there are books that can be read, games that can be played (both outdoors and indoors), and artwork that can be experienced.
I am looking for occasional, flexible part-time work, but not a full-time
position. (In addition, I have a very responsible and artistic teenager girl who has a lot of babysitting experience!)

Overnight: Saturday and Sunday.
