I am currently a student at UIC and will be entering nursing school this fall. I have been working with kids since I was 16 and I actually plan on going into pediatric nursing. I have worked at two different daycares throughout the past 3 years, working with ages from 6 weeks to 6 years. In the past, I have also done volunteer work, working with children. Patience and safety are top priorities of mine when it comes to working with children. I understand all kids are different, which allows me to adjust the type of care I provide. I always want to make sure each child gets the equal amount of time and effort it takes into caring for them and show each of them a genuine interest so they are able to bond with me, while feeling both safe and comfortable. I truly love getting to know the kids I work with, all while helping them learn and grow. I am CPR certified and have first aid training. I have my own car and my schedule will be very flexible Monday-Friday!
