Hey, my name is Brendan and here is a little about me; I lived in Chicago until the age of seven, when my brother, mother and I moved to Ireland where most of our family still lives. Growing up in Ireland I was always the first thought when it came to babysitting for anyone, whether it be friends, cousins or neighbors. I am patient, kind, understanding and always get along with kids. As I grew up working with kids, I have come to love it. Over the summer, I worked at the Park District as a Special Recreation Leader working with people with various disabilities. I love to do fun activities with the kids like various forms of arts and crafts, different games, cooking and baking while taking all the necessary precautions as well as many others. I am also well capable of taking on extra responsibilities if requested. It is my goal to provide a safe and nurturing environment where the kids enjoy themselves while the parents can be worry-free. I also completed a lifeguarding program therefore I am trained in CPR. I am available everyday except Mondays and Wednesdays. For reference, I live in Jefferson Park.
