Hi! My name is Dominique and Im currently a student at UIC.
Ever since I was little I knew I wanted to work with kids in the future, and started taking care of kids among my family and friends. I got my first job as a babysitter in 2018, working for a family in Oak Park with a girl of 4 and a baby of 1, which gave me more experience with toddlers and infants.
I am originally from Chile, and am fluent in both Spanish and English. In 2019 I spent time tutoring a 5-year-old for Spanish, where I had the opportunity to create my own lesson planning, including activities and games to maintain the kid entertained while also learning a second language.
Sunny days are my favorite because I can take the kids outside and go for a walk, but I also enjoy staying home baking something on rainy days. I live with a cat and a dog, and would love to meet your furry friends. I am really passionate about art and am pursuing it as a career in college, so crafts and projects are always fun with me!
I have been taking all precautions necessary and am currently fully vaccinated!
I am available from 1pm to 5pm on weekdays, but my schedule is looking pretty flexible this summer!
