Gillian has been working with children professionally since 2018. In 2018, Gillian worked for Gottesman RTW Academy as an aftercare specialist. After that, she attended college at Parsons School of Design at the New School. Starting in 2021, Gillian worked with Smart Sitting, until 2023 when she moved to Texas. In Texas, she worked at the YMCA of Central Texas from October 2023 to present. She went to art school and loves crafting, improvising and encouraging creativity, individuality and self-expression. Gillian wants to make a difference in the world, and has worked with other organizations focused on community events, and animals (fostering and shelter work). She is highly motivated to stay working and stay learning. The most meaningful work to Gillian is helping others, and hearing that they are proud of themselves, comfortable and feel supported. She is certified in Food Handling, Red Cross First Aid Training, and Volunteer Deputy Registration.
