Hi there/Hola! My name is Idalia and I’m 24. I moved to Chicago about 6 years ago for college at the University of Chicago, and loved the city so much I’ve stuck around. I love working with children and have been in child-focused roles on and off throughout the years. In 2014, I was an elementary school English teacher for K-6 in Paris, France. From 2012-2015, I worked at the Chicago Childcare Society primarily with 3-5 year olds. And, of course, I’ve done my fair share of babysitting.

Needless to say, I love working with children, helping out with homework, reading to them or even, now that it’s summer, just playing out in the park. I am also happy to speak in French or Spanish if that is a preference parents have. Please reach out if you have any questions!
