Hello families,
My name is Janet, I am a college student, at Northeastern Illinois University, pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Education. I am responsible, honest, and caring.
I have volunteered/worked for a home daycare for a couple of summers during high school. I worked with kids from ages 8 months- 12 . I read to them, helped with lunch time, took them to the park, tutored them and helped with nap time. In addition, I have babysat my 4 nieces and nephews from age 8 months- 12 years old. During high school, I was a mentor for the underclassmen, I helped them with homework as well as guiding them through the right path. I may not have paid experience, but I do have some experience. Even if it was volunteering, I chose to spend time with children.
I currently have a part-time job at a nursing facility, but as a college student I am looking for an occasional part -time (more during the summer. ) I look forward to meeting your family! Please feel free to contact me with any Questions!
