Here’s a bit about my past experiences with childcare:
I worked for a wonderful family for 5+ years who have two energetic, smart, loving children who were 3 and 5 years old when I first began working with them. The parents and I discussed their values and core beliefs in parenting and child rearing. I took in account the needs and wants of the parents and integrated that into my daily work. Daily tasks consisted of picking children up from their home and driving them to separate schools. Picking them up from school and taking them to their weekly activities. As well as, aiding the children in homework and projects daily. I prepared healthy meals including breakfast, lunch, snacks and an occasional dinner. During the summer I worked 40+ hours a week. I took the kids to their daily activities, museums, pools, parks and play dates. Art and reading are a daily part of the summer and school schedule as well. I like to find fun and interesting ways to help children learn, grow and explore the world.

I also have experience with babysitting many children. I have babysat in the evenings and on weekends. I have watched my niece weekly from the time she was a few weeks old over the course of 8.5 years. Responsibilities included: Feeding, meal prep, changing, bathing, washing bottles and nipples, reading, playing with toys, walks, park time, light laundry for infant, homework assistance, AND showering children with love and care.

I really enjoy working with kiddos and they seem to think of me as a personal jungle gym! Taking care of children is a natural role for me and always has been. Im a giant child at heart, who likes to play and make others laugh. I am also a very responsible childcare provider and take my role seriously when it comes to providing a safe nurturing space for children to grow, learn and explore in. I enjoy using creative outlets to teach and expand the childrens knowledge such as: art, creative writing, humor, singing, games, and the list goes!
