I’m a mother to a beautiful young lady who did her graduate work at the U of Chicago and is now a community organizer for justice reform. I’m an aunt (dare I say favorite aunt? Yes!) to 15 nieces and nephews ages 1 to 25 years old. I absolutely love and respect children and young adults and believe they genuinely enjoy my company. My nieces and nephews reside in various states coast to coast so I don’t get to spend as much time with those far away as I’d like, but those who reside in the Chicago area often see me for one-on-one time. If you choose to employ me as your sitter, I can guarantee you that I would treat your child (children) with the same careful attention and respect that I accord my own family members.

With respect to other people’s children, I recently cared for three girls ages 10 to 14 when I started. I left their family’s employment when the oldest girl received her driver’s license and the two younger were independent enough to care for themselves and contribute more significantly to family chore responsibilities. My then-employer would gladly speak with anyone seeking to learn more about my children-caring capabilities.

Meal Prep: I’ve been complimented by many as being an excellent cook, and would be happy to help with pre-cooking assistance, or cook full meals for your family. After school snacks would be a breeze for me to prepare, taking individual needs/preferences into consideration.

LAUNDRY: I’m a particular and careful laundress, so you can trust your washing needs to me. I also actually enjoy ironing – imagine!

DRIVING: I own my own car and am a qualified, careful, and very safe driver.

REFERENCES: I’ll provide you with names and contact information for at least three references who can comment on my child-caring skills should you want.

Additional services: Meal preparation, Laundry, and Crafts.
