Hi there! My name is Maya, and childhood education and development is a big part of my life. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Cello Performance from Oberlin College and Conservatory, where I also studied Education and Pedagogy and maintained a group of young students. I have experience in babysitting children age 3 – 12, and experience tutoring kids age 4 – 18 in both academic and musical subjects. I believe that time spent with a babysitter should be enriching, engaging, and fun. I am confident and equipped to assist your child with virtual learning and homework, as well as to cook, walk, hike, and play outside with them. I am very energetic and want to create the best possible environment for your child to grow. I am extremely careful about COVID safety regulations and maintain a small social circle. I wear a mask whenever leaving my home, and do not go out to eat. I have reliable transportation and a very open schedule. I would love to become part of your child’s routine!
