I come from a large family that has always been filled with children of all ages and ever since I was a young girl, I’ve taken on many roles helping kids learn and grow. Such as, sensory play and language learning in toddlers, creative thinking and focused learning in preschoolers, as homework help and fun engaging activities in school aged kids, as well as emotional support/guidance and extracurricular activities in teens. Although it was never paid work, it’s a love I’ve never lost, something that comes naturally to me and has also instilled many traits to my character. I’m patient, energetic, nurturing, positive, reliable and have a strong work ethic. I have three years of experience as a nursing student at BGSU so I have a good background on childhood development, medical conditions, and am CPR + First Aid certified, and am good at juggling school work and responsibilities.
