My name is Denita and I am passionate about working and helping others! I have always enjoyed spending time with individuals and getting to know who they are. I have worked with various populations including children one on one and in groups, adults with developmental disabilities, adults with mental health issues, and patients at the hospital getting ready for surgery. With this being said, I am CPR certified. I enjoy cultivating relationships and look forward to any opportunity I have to do so!

Besides working with others, I enjoy spending time with my friends, writing poetry, and getting immersed in activities such as yoga and going to church at Vineyard. Any opportunities to better myself as a person from reading a good book to researching the nitty gritty about the skincare I invest in is worth the risk!

From a young age, I have known that I really enjoyed taking care of people. I was always seeking a chance to emotionally assist those that were in need. Graduating with a degree in psychology and social work, I knew that making a career out of practicing empathy was the path I should take. I was always digging to get to the root of the issue to work towards growth. My confidants would describe me as down to earth, friendly, empathetic, and caring. These characteristics are needed so greatly in a field such as working with people in need. I believe that practicing this can help bring a person to a place better than the last.
