My name is Leslie and I am graduating Senior at a Texas Christian University. I have experience working as an English educator in Madrid, Spain. As an English educator I facilitated classes on English language and culture for intermediate to advanced students (age 11-18) and I collaborated with other English teachers on designing lessons focused on fluency and comprehension. Additionally, I have also volunteered at Cooks Children’s Hospital for many years, assisting Child Life Specialists. I assisted with creating engaging and fun activities for patients, interacting with patients and their families, and helping with organizing and cleaning toys. At Cooks Children’s Hospital I had the opportunity to work with patients of all backgrounds and ages.

A little more about me – I am fluent in Spanish and I have a limited working proficiency in French. I consider myself someone who is eager to learn, passionate about traveling and exploring new cultures, and an avid runner.
