My experience working with youth has been a lifelong experience, beginning when I was in middle school, teaching Sunday School to elementary aged children. It continued into high school when I enrolled in my schools Preschool Education program and worked one on one with one preschooler for the entire school year. It has even continued into college, when I became a Corps Member at Jumpstart. Working with children is something that has impacted my life tremendously because giving back and using my experiences to shape and help someone elses life is a feeling like no other.
