Hi there!

My name is Amanda, I am 25 years old and I graduated from Eastern Illinois University in August 2016 with a degree in Recreation Administration. I have worked as a nanny/ babysitter all through high school and college for children ages 3 months-10 years old. I am currently a teacher for a local elementary school looking for a babysitting job before/ after school & weekends. Last year, I was a nanny for two families in Elmhurst (kids ages 3-9 years old). I was also Day Camp Coordinator for the Lombard Park District. I oversaw 40 campers ages 6-14. I was, also a Before/ After School Supervisor for the Park District of La Grange. I oversaw 50 children ages 5-12 years old and 8 staff members. As a child care professional I prepared snack, implemented educational activities, and cleaned dishes, tables, etc. I do not smoke and able to provide my own transportation to and from work.

I am all about the kids and love my job as a child care provider! I have always found it to be a very rewarding experience. I like to do fun things like arts and crafts, go to the park, swimming, ride bikes, go to the movies, and so much more! I also like to plan new activities, read books, and listen to music.

Although having fun is important to me, your child’s safety is always the number one priority. I am CPR certified and First Aid certified.

I am looking to for a part-time position starting immediately Monday-Sunday, anytime after 3:15 pm. I am looking to find a position closer to home. I’m always free for date nights on weekends as well :)

I have many references that you may contact, I have been with a couple park districts and many families and I’m sure they only have good things to say about me!
