Hi there!! My name is Suraya, and I am 21 years old. I am a senior in University and will be in Texas until mid/late August, so I am looking for part time babysitting jobs. (Don’t worry, if we work well together, I will be back permanently from December after I graduate! :) ) I moved from London to Memphis when I was 10 years old, and starting babysitting at 11. I have babysat all ages, from infants to teenagers and absolutely love it!! I worked with 5 families consistently over the years that I was in Memphis, and each of them recommended me to their friends, and so on. In addition to being a paid babysitter, I have three younger siblings and 6 younger cousins who I always used to babysit whenever I was needed, so I have plenty of experience and feel perfectly comfortable with all ages. Having this many young ones in my family has allowed me to see how difficult it is to be a parent and how that extra help can change things so quickly, which is part of the reason I love this job so much. I like to think of myself as friendly, energetic, and patient (which is incredibly important when dealing with children, as you already know!) I also have my license and have been driving since I was 15, so there would be no problems in terms of transportation or if you need me to do drop-offs/pick-ups. I also did First Aid Training when I was 16, but I am working on getting my certification updated at the moment. Furthermore, since it is the summer, my days are very flexible, so if you need me at a moment’s notice, you won’t have to hesitate to let me know because I can likely help out!! I strongly believe that my experience as well as my love for caring for children truly sets me apart as a babysitter.
