My name is Angela and I live in Newport, Jersey City and frequent Hoboken quite a bit. I have over 15 years of experience in part-time childcare both with families and in classroom settings, and most recently have spent the past two years as a weekend nanny to a wonderful family in Brooklyn. As my full time career ramps up, I am looking to shift from my current weekly schedule and commute to occasional baby sitting for local families. I have experience with all ages, but primarily focus on ages 0-4.

I come from a big family that took an all-hands-on-deck approach to supporting my sister raising her two children from infancy (now 8 and 12.) I love working with warm, nurturing families in all aspects of infant and toddler care and becoming part of their village. I encourage toddlerss coping skill development by helping them name feelings, self-sooth and redirect to their favorite activities. Im experienced with children struggling to separate from parents and in supporting a family welcoming a new baby.

I have a background in music and am conversational in Italian. I enjoy cooking, baking, reading and writing. I would love to be a small part of your parenting team!
