I am an 18 year old from Edmond Oklahoma but I recently moved to Ohio to start a new chapter in my life. My experience with children started when I became an older sister. I became my little sisters babysitter on a regular basis along with many of my cousins. From there I became the neighborhood babysitter gaining a lot of experience with kids at a young age (about 14). I was also very involved in the infant nursery at the ymca along with teaching a small homeschool preschool class by 16, giving me my first experiences as teacher. I really enjoy working with the littlest of little ones. I love life and being goofy is one of my favorite things to be. I like to play, use our imaginations, be active, read, and have fun with children. I also really enjoy challenging kids and adding in educational aspects to play, asking children why and how, taking their knowledge and understanding one step further. I think every child has such great potential and I thoroughly enjoy getting to know every child as individuals and have their needs met. I love enjoy seeing how children’s minds work and think there is so much we can learn from children! Some of my activities and hobbies are music, arts and crafts, cooking and baking, and spending time with my loved ones! However, I am a very flexible person and I love to try new things. I am constantly looking for new activities and enjoy variety of options. As a caretaker, I believe a quality nanny puts the children as their first priority, especially their safety, is a positive role model, and makes sure you leave the home feeling completely comfortable that your kids will have a great time!
