Hi there – my name is Bre Melino and thanks for taking the time to review my page. I’ve been working with children in various areas for the past 15 years and can’t get enough of their fun loving charisma.

About me – I started teaching children as a swim instructor when I was 14. Years later I was lucky enough to become the Aquatics Director where I facilitated meet and greets for parents and their swim instructor, conducted monthly safety tests and trained all swim instructors and coached parent & baby, child and adult swim lessons/water safety programs.

While in college, I was given the opportunity to work with aspiring artists at Rochester Broadway Theatre Leagues Summer Stars program. The following year I was given the opportunity to teach acting and improv classes in addition to dance and music. I spent 3 summers with the program before moving to NYC.

Upon moving to the city, I began working for a family to care for their daughter. During my time with them I helped the family develop hygiene structure such as potty training, bathing, etc., coordinated playdates, music classes, swimming lessons, oversaw housley duties such as dog walks, cleaning up toys, maintaining cleanliness, cooking meals and the family calendar. I traveled within the US and overseas and occasionally provided transportation by car when needed. I taught childrens music, dance, basic French and Spanish in addition to private swim lessons.

After the little one started school, I began working for Ample Hills Creamery as their Community Party and Events Manager. My day to day would consist of coordinating with guests to plan birthday parties and private events, schedule, train and manage all party and event employees, work when needed to demonstrate exceptional party experience and oversee all in house events such as cooking classes, ice cream socials, movie/game nights and more!

I have since moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career working in childrens production. I believe that bringing meaningful media to children is a way in which we can inspire new leaders and create well adjusted children in an ever changing world.

I am currently employed as an after-school sitter for a wonderful family in Silverlake. I am looking for more opportunities in the morning/afternoons and as a date night sitter!
