Hello! My name is Carina, I am 26 years old and recently graduated from Loyola Marymount University with two degrees. I follow all social distancing and CDC guidance to better protect myself and any family I work with.

I believe that I am naturally mindful of others around me and what they may need. I am a fast learner and a dependable individual. If you need me to teach or tutor starting in late August, I am confident that I will be able and qualified to do so.

I also have had experience working hands-on in private homes and 100+ hours in a skilled nursing facility.

I am often asked why I nanny, tutor or babysit and the answer is simple: I enjoy working with children and find it to be an extremely rewarding experience! For 4 years at LMU, I was a part of a Lions for Learning program, which allowed me to tutor and participate in our local schools as a student teacher. I typically worked with students from grades kindergarten to the 6th grade.
Overall, I make sure that when I am working, I take great care and exercise all precautionary measures to ensure the safety of the children. I make sure the children are engaged in interesting and fun activities!

I am also happy to tidy up after them and their playtime activities. To note: I can also be hired to care for animals and I have my own form of transportation!

Past Typical Tasks: cooking, packing meals, changing diapers, assisting with homework, laundry, doing the dishes, overlooking childrens chores, overnight sitter, date night sitter and cleaning. I have also done outings with the children I cared for either going to the park, educational or fun activities
