I am an experienced lifeguard with up-to-date certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid. In 2009, after receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University Of Michigan in Ann Arbor, I moved to Los Angeles. I have since been working in retail sales in a variety of capacities, including assistant store manager and store manager, while holding local art exhibitions in my spare time.

My first babysitting job was caring for my baby cousin when I was eleven-years-old. Since then, I babysat children of all ages for other family members, neighbors, and friends. During my junior and senior years at Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy, I volunteered to teach middle school students art. Before entering college, I was hired by the Saginaw Art Museum to teach art to middle school children. In college, I taught art classes to 3rd and 4th graders at Greenfield Union Elementary School in Detroit. It was one of the most enlightening and fulfilling experiences of my life. Being entrusted to care for and help educate primary and secondary school students was both an honor and a privilege.

I became a caregiver and taught art to elementary school children because I genuinely love working with and teaching children. My overriding goal in providing childcare and educating children has always been to responsibly create an environment where children can have fun learning, while concurrently fostering the skills necessary to help them develop into future responsible adults.

I also enjoy being a caregiver because working with and teaching children gives me a chance to experience what it’s like to see things from a childs perspective. I get involved with the children I provide care for and teach if they want to have a tea party, play a game, or read a book, I am all in. I give my undivided attention to them100% of the time. My experience in retail management, lifeguarding, education, and caregiving has taught me to remain cool under pressure and always under promise and over deliver to the clients I serve. I will care for your children as if they were my own. Under my supervision, the safety and wellbeing of your child will always be paramount.
