My name is Paloma Sebastian. I am 24 years old, moved to Los Angeles in November 2015, born and raised in MN! I am a 2014 graduate of College of Saint Benedict/ Saint John’s University where I majored in Art with an emphasis in Film and made some of the best memories of my life with forever friends. Having recently moved, I am in search of a part time job and I am always open to meeting new people. I have all the qualities to be a great babysitter, nanny, and/or petsitter. I know these would also be enjoyable ways to stay busy and earn some extra cash on the side.

I am incredibly reliable, responsible, intelligent, friendly, approachable, caring, hardworking, observant, creative, healthy, a natural problem solver, respond quickly with common sense in emergency situations and I am calm under pressure. As much as I love a good time, safety and security always comes first. I have attended public, private secular, and private Catholic school from age 5- 23. I studied abroad in Greece, Italy, Germany, and love to travel whenever I get the opportunity. I played intensive year-round club volleyball from age 12-18, club and intramural volleyball in college, thrive on working-out regularly, eating healthy, and staying up-to-date on mental health, as well. In my downtime, I love to see movies, play beach volleyball in Santa Monica, go out for meals/ drinks with my friends, draw, paint, research current events, health/ fitness, film, and whatever else peeks my interest!

My experience includes babysitting my neighbors; 2 year old Hannah and 6 month old Josh when I was 13 years old. I have also been babysitting my nieces and nephew (current ages 12, 11, 6, 2 and 1) ever since I was 12 years old. Aside from babysitting, I grew up with four siblings (two older, two younger) and I am very used to a full house! Having lived with my best friend (for three years during college) who majored in Elementary Education and has experience teaching kindergarden- 4th grade, has made me even more aware of the importance of child development. As a babysitter or nanny, I will do whatever it takes to maintain a healthy, happy, active, safe, comfortable and loving environment.

Regarding pets, my family has fostered cats and dogs (both big and small) since I was 3 years old. We now have two dogs of our own- Chloe (maltese) and Clark (maltipoo). We’ve also had birds, hamsters and rabbits in the past. Needless to say, I am pet-friendly!
