Hi, my name is Sylvia and I am 22 years old. I just moved to Los Angeles from Northern California, Sonoma County, to begin my nursing program! While juggling school, I figured this would be a perfect way for me to make money for living expenses, and it would allow me to get further experience with children as I want to be in labor and delivery or pediatrics in general! I absolutely adore children, and I can thank my mother for that as she began her daycare business in our home when I was only 2 years old! I grew to not only love children, but understand them, which now allows me to have better knowledge of problem-solving skills, and de-escalation in situations involving upset behaviors. I am CPR certified through the American Red Cross and also have my certified nursing assistant license. And lastly, I cant forget to mention my 4 beautiful niece and nephews back at home who hold a large piece of my heart and have also taught me more love and compassion.
