I have worked in the special needs field for 6 years. Since I recently moved to LA from NY I’ve been looking for a job in this field. Working with the individuals directly is something that is important to me. At my last job, I helped the individuals with their daily activities as well as helped them achieve their personal goals. I would always encourage them to advocate for themselves. I worked with a wide variety of individuals from lower functioning to independent living.
I am eager to use what I know as well as learn new tasks and incorporate them into the daily routine of the workplace.
