Since I was 13, I have been doing babysitting jobs for various family members and family friends. Growing up, I always enjoyed working and playing with children. Whether it be with my dolls or being a dance instructor for three and four-year-olds. Now that I am a college student, I enjoy being around children because it is fun to feel young(er) again while playing!
As for experience, I babysat for my Aunt and her two boys for three years. They were 6 and 10 when I started. Now, they’re old enough to watch themselves, but I will still drive the youngest to birthday parties, baseball practice, etc. I also had the opportunity to babysit a three month-year-old baby girl in July of 2017. It was a beautiful, challenging experience! Lastly, I have babysat for a family of three children, 14, 11 and 7. Helping keep them entertained and get into bed so mom and dad could have a night out!
Despite pursuing a career in broadcast journalism, working with children is my favorite side passion. They’re always funny and always so, brutally honest!
