Previous experience includes babysitting my cousin growing up, and two children between the age of 5-8 during the summers. I was a teaching assistant in high school my junior and senior year for two semesters in a third grade classroom. I helped kids with math, learning how to read, behavior, etc. I started off in college as an Elementary Ed. major, so I have taken classes in Early Childhood Development and I also was a teachers assistant for a semester in college for 3rd grade as well. I am currently mentoring a 9th grader. I am comfortable babysitting kids from ages 4 and up as long as they are potty trained. I would be happy to help around the house a little if needed. While I am not a great chef per say, haha, I can “prep” foods- like a Greek salad or cheese board etc. I make great chocolate chip cookies, though. I would be happy to assist with remote learning if needed.
