I have had experience working as a babysitter for many different families. Afterwards I became a live-in nanny for three years for a family with two children. I was responsible for the household maintenance as well as helping the children with their homework and extracurricular activities. The opportunity to play a helpful role in a familys life is a great privilege because of the ability to positively influence a childs household experience. Even though the position is only for a few times a week, I believe it is important to make sure the child feels supported and happy.
