Hello, its nice to e-meet you! My name is Anna Abernethy, and I have been living in New York City for about 3 years now. I made the Big Apple move after graduating from Auburn University in 2017, and I continue to find captivating pieces of the city each day.

I absolutely love working and playing with children and am excited about the opportunity to babysit and meet your family. During my Big Brothers/Big Sisters experience I encouraged, mentored, and tutored a young lower schooler as she navigated 2nd and 3rd grade. I also babysat for various families from toddlers to children, and teenagers. I enjoy engaging with children and supporting academically, being an active listener, and providing an enriching and fulfilling environment. I am responsible, nurturing, timely, and enthusiastic about developing a relationship with children to understand what makes them so unique.
