Write a messageHi, my name is Brooke and I am 22 years old. I am seeking a full-time nannying or caregiving position as I to relocate to NYC summer of 2025. My experience in caretaking began approximately 10 years ago when I volunteered at a summer camp for individuals with autism. I was employed there for six weeks each summer for a total of eight years, working with individuals of various ages and abilities (anywhere from 5-30 years of age). Following this, I transitioned into full-time nannying for a child with autism. I will graduate in May of 2025 from JMU with a Bachelors of Science degree in Special Education, certified in both adapted and general education curricula (k-12). In addition to nannying/caregiving, I am also able to provide at-home tutoring.
In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, im extremely outgoing and love meeting new people. I love to see to live music and watch movies. I enjoy staying active, and engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking and going to the beach (I am from Virginia Beach, Virginia).
I pride myself on being a reliable and trustworthy employee. I have extensive experience working with children, both nuerotypical and neurodivergent children. I have experience in working with individuals with hearing and vision impairments, as well as down-syndrome and cerebral palsy. This line of work has always been a huge passion of mine, and I am committed to providing the best care and support possible.
