Write a messageHello. I am a research assistant at Columbia University Medical Center (West 168th St). I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at Binghamton University May 2017. I will be applying to medical school the next fall in hopes of starting Fall 2020.
I’ve been working with kids as young as 5 years old since I was 14. My experience with kids has revolved around lifeguarding and teaching swimming lessons to supervising kids during dance performances. I love spending time with kids as it reminds me of the time my sister and I were kids. While she is only 3 years younger, I had so much fun teaching her about life and acting as a role model for her.
Some hobbies of mine include dancing (mainly ballet), piano, skiing, playing with my dog, taking classes at Orange Theory Fitness, and taking photos. My past/current professional experiences include but are not limited to being a camp lifeguard, sales associate, clinical research support assistant, college calculus and inorganic chemistry tutor, pre-med anesthesiology intern, hostess, waitress.
I live in a suburb 35 minutes north of Manhattan and own a car. I would prefer to babysit in Manhattan because I work in Washington Heights. My schedule is pretty flexible as some weeks I am at my lab full time, and sometimes I only work a few days.
Thank you for getting to know me a little. I look forward to meeting you!
