Write a messageI am a calm, upbeat, and responsible caregiver, with experience working with children in diverse settings and with diverse expectations and childcare goals. In addition to my experience babysitting for children ages 6mos-11 years throughout high school, I have worked as a dance teacher for children ages 3-8, and a sailing instructor for children ages 4-16. I am CPR/AED as well as lifeguard certified, and am a certified babysitter from a Childrens Hospital run training course in Boston. From my years working with kids in their homes, in the dance studio and on the ocean, Ive developed a great mental toolbox for keeping kids engaged, happy, and above all, safe. I have classroom teaching experience from my time as a math, english, and science teacher for elementary and middle schoolers in Ghana, as well as tutoring younger students throughout high school with the National Honors Society. I am currently a student at Columbia University. Ive loved being with kids my whole life, and so Ive always sought out jobs that enable me to work with children, either babysitting, tutoring, or teaching. Now that I am in school, I cannot be a dance teacher or a classroom teacher anymore, but would love to continue babysitting.
