Progression 3: Exercise 1
For the purpose of my progression 3 writing Im going to focus on the works of Audre Lorde. Lorde is known for addressing the issues of many social injustices through her work including, racism, sexism, classism and homophobia. She is widely recognized for her association with many activist movements and often spoke on the struggle of liberation from society many discriminations. Being a woman of color, the work of Audre Lorde is directly applicable to me in that she focused on the hardships of being a double minority in todays society.
