Hello! My name is Dalia, I am 24 years old, and I am a New York native with many years of childcare experience in school, camp, and nannying capacities. I have loved children since I was a young girl by the age of 12, I was caring for my young nieces when their parents wanted to go out for a date. I have done many nannying jobs around NYC and in Providence where I went to college, taking care of children aged 1-15. And further, I have worked as tutor and sexual health educator for middle schoolers, as a summer camp counselor, and as a lacrosse coach for girls aged 11-14. Its safe to say that I have a lot of experience working with children! A bit about me: After graduating from Brown University with a BA in History in 2021, I moved back to New York to work for the Center for Court Innovation as a case manager. AT CCI, I worked with people just out of jail, helping them find jobs, mental health services, and housing. After about 2 years, I decided to quit my job, and I have been traveling around the Middle East/Europe for the past 6 months! I am an absolute avid lover of the outdoors, of cooking, of museums, of sports, and of board games. I have had a lot of fun taking children around NYC to parks, meals, museums, and I have even taken a few to Bear Mountain for hikes. I am always ready to play (in whatever capacity that might look like! I am full of passion and enthusiasm, and I love to teach and to learn from children. I pride myself on my flexibility and commitment to making sure children feel listened to, respected, and cared for.
