i’ve always been the youngest sibling with the latest birthday, so i found myself around kids younger than me. i’ve formed a safe space and community with kids and treated them like they were my younger siblings, especially during elementary and middle school. during high school, i had the opportunity to babysit and catsit for my friends, and i took great care of both kid and cat. i also have experience with tutoring and homework-helping, as i’ve worked at the new york public library as a reading ambassador. i love seeing kids achieve and it brings a warmth to my heart, comforting me of my childhood! even though i’m a college student, i’m still a child at heart and easily connect with kids!
