Hi my name is Eleanor Trilling. I am 28 years old and I am currently enrolled in an online masters program to get my masters in social work. However, before I realized psychology and social work were my passion, I started babysitting during college to supplement my income and learned that I loved childcare and child development (as a subject in undergrad). I went to Barnard College, Columbia University and earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology with a specialty/focus in child development. I then went on to follow a track to become a psychiatric nurse. During this time training to become a nurse, I actually realized that social work was my passion and transferred into a social work program (a master’s program) online. I have one more semester to complete to earn my MSW (masters in social work) at the University of Southern California. Even working towards an MSW, I continue to work with kids at my internship and apply my passion towards that. I have now been babysitting for almost 8 years if not more. I am very hardworking, passionate about my job as a babysitting, always. I am extremely fun loving, energetic, playful, creative, imaginative, athletic, and intelligent. I believe I am a great fit for most children and also have a lot of experience working with multiple children at once. I love to share my passion for fun with children while also focusing on their responsibility and helping them achieve academic excellence (this was one of the qualities my parents passed on to me as they were both Professors at top universities). I am trained and certified in CPR – infant, children and adult CPR. I also have a first aid certification as well as some EMT training. Finally, I am bilingual – I speak both English and French fluently.
