Hi – my name is Ellie Valentine, and I’m a senior International Studies major and biology minor at Kenyon College (a small liberal arts school in rural Ohio). I grew up in New York and started babysitting for neighbors in my apartment building when I was thirteen. Since babysitting for neighbors, I’ve volunteered as an assistant teacher for the NYC-based organization the GO Project, ran activities for kids that were 6 months to 12 years old at a refugee camp in Greece, and, of course, continued babysitting for family friends when I’m back home. When I’m babysitting, I love to do crafts, bake, or, if it’s nice outside, go to the park and kick around a soccer ball (I have a younger brother who has trained me well in that regard). In my free time, I love to read, ski, and cook. I look forward to meeting you and your family :)
