I grew up in a family of 7 and that experience sure teaches you a thing or two about caring for children. I was often left to watch over three of my younger brothers, along with whatever friends they had over at the time. Both of my parents worked full time, and often late hours, which meant that I learned how to prepare meals and maintain the tidiness of our home while our parents were away. Along with that, I was also taking one of the boys to soccer practices and the others to their afterschool activities while I managed my coursework and own activities. I did these things for my parents not just because they needed my help, but also because I enjoy spending time with children.

I find that kids are the most observant and they have so much to offer with the right kind of attention. I like to read with children and I love to introduce children to art, as that is my background. I grew up playing sports and I love being outdoors as well. Each child needs something different and I can be there for them as I have been for my siblings in the past.
