I grew up in a large family, I am one of five children, and I am the second oldest, with one younger sister and two younger brothers. I helped raise my siblings, took them to school, homework, and extra curricular. Also, when I was in undergrad I worked at a learning center (ages 6 weeks to 3 years) and after school care (k through 5). Through college and grad school and even after I graduated with my masters degree I volunteered as a guardian ad litem because it is essential that children are protected, cared for, and continually reinforced that they are a gift, and the future. Additionally, I worked as a lifeguard at summer camps and my local recreation center. Have given private swimming lessons to adults and children.
