Hellofamilies, Imust say out of any job I have ever held, baby sitting was always one I always returned to because it was a job involving kids and I adore kids. When I was schild myself, I loved watching younger children. As I got older, I would continue to take on jobswhile practically raising my sister (born in 2001) as my mom worked. I have so much trust and support behind me.

I have grown to learn to understand children, whether it’s when they cry, get upset or perhaps get too rowdy. I never laid my hands on a child. There are many ways to discipline a child without making the problem worse. I cook from time to time, I love book reading (makes me feel like a teacher), I am not a swimmer but I love the pool and beaches. I do not drive, I love NYC for its many conveniences (including public transportation). I am not CPR certified but again, if I am hired I will assure you I will make time to get the proper training to become CPR certified.

I am over protective of children whether I know them or not. I just believe children need plenty of attention, I mean anything can happen in a split second. I have been trying to become a nanny for the longest and didn’t think it would be so hard but due to safety of children, I totally get why it is hard to just select someone.
