Welcome Families! My name is Jasmine, I am a Teaching Artist in the Brooklyn/Park Slope area. My role there truly informs how I approach child care. I foster a fun creative environment for self expression through Musical Theatre Play. I strive to inspire children to step into different characters, that in turn, teaches them how to work well with others and communicate their ideas and feelings. I pride myself on having an innate ability to connect with various personalities and I believe this stems from establishing a safe space, boundaries and trust. I have over 8 years experience in teaching and caring for ages 3-13. A few things about me! I am originally from Texas! When moving to New York I attended a Performing Arts Conservatory and graduated, Fall of 2019. Since then I have been performing professionally in and around the New York City area. Currently I am also working to achieve a degree in Writing and Literature.
