Im 20 years old and a second-year art history student at The New School.
I have a lot of experience working with children. In high school, I spent all four years volunteering at an equine therapy institution that helped children with mental and physical special needs bond with horses and discover their inner gifts and strength. I also led an afterschool care program with a program called Girl Talk at an local, underserved junior high school that was focused on supporting young girls with their life-school balance, as well as providing a safe space for sharing their triumphs and struggles.
I was raised in Orange County, California. Growing up as a teenager, I had an intuitive interest in the arts and aesthetics. I am an artist myself, and I am also training to become a Reiki practitioner. I am patient, understanding, relatable, loving, empathetic, and work incredibly well with children. I see my connection with children as one of my gifts.

When I was a young teenager, I was struck by a series of chronic illnesses (things like undiagnosable chronic fatigue, nothing contagious!) which introduced me to wellness, meditation, and yoga as well as the concept of trauma and holistic healing. My struggles gifted me with the ability to empathize most people from all walks of life. My youth makes me fun and relatable but Im also more mature and experienced when it comes to the challenges and unpredictablity of everyday life than most people my age.

And yes I am bilingual! I speak fluent Chinese and am a proud first-generation Chinese immigrant.
I also dabble in a little highschool-level Spanish. :)
