As I prepare for starting a family of my own in a few years, I’m eager to spend more time caring for children in the city :) I have lived and worked in NYC for the past 8 years, am married, a college grad with a BS in Biology, and I’ve babysat sporadically in NYC for friends who need a helping hand with their own children, or as a substitute babysitter for other friends with conflicting schedules.

My full-time job is in Customer Success at a Tech company, so my availability will primarily be evenings and weekends.

My babysitting experience dates nearly 20 years, as I began with caring for a 3-child family in my neighborhood during most weekends at the age of 12. Their kids spanned in age from infancy to teenager as I spent the next 6 years babysitting consistently for them, until heading to college. They would often refer me to friends who needed last-minute help, but out of the dozen or so other families I cared for, the bulk of my experience was with the original family in my neighborhood :)

If you’re interested to understand more about my familial experience with kids, I am the youngest of 7 siblings, and spending time with my 10 nieces & nephews is one of my favorite pastimes! I take aunt duties as seriously as I would a paying position, and their ages range from 2-18.

I am open to caring for children of all ages and all ability-levels, as I have experience with children who may need extra attention for various levels or learning or physical abilities.
